As a world citizen, Chris started his career in San Francisco (Berkeley) and from there to New York City, he worked for some of the world’s most distinguished design firms. His work spans across high rise, luxury retail, and lifestyle hospitality over 23 years of experience in space design. He was appointed as the sole project manager for YabuPushelberg in Asia, the company designed the award-winning interiors of W Hotel and Rosewood Hotel in Guangzhou, Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beijing, One Shenzhen Bay in Shenzhen, and The OPUS in Hong Kong.
Chris has been active in teaching architectural design at New York Institute of Technology. He also was invited to speak at Tsinghua University in Beijing and University of Saint Joseph in Macao on multiple occasions.
As a New York licensed architect, he approaches the design of environments with a multidisciplinary methodology. He looks at each project with the context of its location, surrounding, time and history. Each design mixes with the eastern philosophy and western influences and balances the experiences of craftsmanship and precision of technology.
Each space blends stylish luxury modernity with a touch of natural element or piece of ancient history to create a timeless contemporary environment.
